Strange Things are Happening in Strangerland

October 14th, 2010

Hey Folks!

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but I’m oh-so-thrilled for the Sideshow crew involved in creating Strangerland, our first ever ensemble devised play that’s currently spending long hours being shaped, worked and written as part of the DCA Incubator Series! The DCA is providing the perfect platform for this work to develop, and as someone who’s been completely outside the project, I’m probably way too excited for the first public performance on Monday, October 25th at 7:30pm.

As part of the DCA Incubator Series, the Strangerland team has to write for the DCA Blog. Our Artistic Associates are writing some interesting stuff, which you can read HERE. While yes, clearly I’m jealous that another blog exists in this vast internet world, I must say it’s a damn fine blog. I like being able to learn and be a part of the process, even if I’m not in the rehearsal room with all these creative people. So go, check it out.

The best part of Strangerland‘s DCA workshop? It’s FREE! Well technically it’s pay-what-you-can, which is basically like free. You and I could totally hang out on Monday, October 25th at 7:30pm, and watch this new work explode on stage. You can RSVP for your free tickets here, and secure your seat today!

So come, hang out with me. I’m in constant need of human contact.

Love your face,

Ms. Megan
