The Robots are coming! The Robots are coming!

Welcome to 2011 Devoted Readers! 2011 promises at least one thing – robots. And boy, do we deliver.

As of Sunday, our robots arrived at rehearsal for Heddatron. They just strolled in the front door with their party pants on, ready to learn their lines and mingle with the humans. From what I’ve been told by an insider, everyone is getting along swimmingly. In the next few weeks, I’m going to get up close and personal to our robot friends. I promise to find out who’s the diva, the drunk, the jock, the geek, and the beauty queen.

While our robots are in rehearsal, they have not yet been fitted for their costumes and their special tricks for the show. These are just their unfinished robo-skeletons, and expect more bells and whistles in the weeks to come. So please, stop gawking at them while they hang out in their robot undies.

Our lovely robot friends need a bit of assistance to get around, and lucky for us we have only the best in robot operators to help man-handle the bots.
